- We’ll be offering freshly baked bread and celebration cakes prepared and distributed at the Newaygo United Methodist Church.
- We’ll be cooking at the Family of God Community Church to offer healthy center of the table grab and go meals to help time crunched, financially burdened households and Rooms of Refuge guests.
- We will provide part-time jobs flexible jobs to those in our program or community looking to build their culinary job skills.
- Both our bakery and meal kitchen will produce food offered to the community for donation or given freely with love to those who are experiencing food insecurity.
- Home baker incubator: The Cookery will provide a narrow base of baked goods and meals so that we can assist home bakers by showcasing and distributing their products along with ours. This will increase the breadth of products our community can access while giving our many valued home bakers exposure, SafeServe education and business incubator start up assistance.
